Today is Caroline's birthday! My baby has tuned 5 years old. She was excited to be the same age as her older brother, but only for two weeks and he will be turning 6. Needless to say it was a full day of celebration.
Here is a quick picture of the kids this morning about to enjoying Caroline's birthday cake.

Caroline had a great 5th birthday!
With Caroline's birthday I had the opportunity to play with a new Cricut Cartridge.
I made for my daughter's birthday. She is into princesses and fairy tales, the Pretty Pennants cartridge was the perfect solution for her birthday banner. I needed to add a little bit of sparkle because what girl does not love glitter? So I added glitter to the pieces and used foam squares to adhere all the pieces together to make the PERFECT banner for my daughter's 5th birthday.
Supplies:
Teresa Collins Sweet Afternoon at the Picnic Paper
White Cardstock
Teresa Collins Gentry's Glitter
Iridescent Fine Glitter
Cartridges Used:
Sophisticated- Teresa Collins
Pretty Pennants
Tip: 1.) To make your own chipboard letters. Cut out the letter three times on card stock and layer up the letters to give it more stability like chipboard. I love using the cricut because the letters are cut out perfect each and every time.
2.) Using foam squares gives your project dimension and more depth to the overall look of your creation.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great Thursday!
