School is back in session!!!

Summer has come and gone!  The kids are all in school and we are excited for school to be back in session.

This is the first year that Caroline will be in school all day for Kindergarten, Drew is excited about being with his friends in 1st grade, and Sammie has the best class ever....most of her friends are in her class for 2nd grade.   We are all excited about the coming school year and we hope we can keep up with the momentum of the excitement throughout the year.

We have been so busy this summer with my parents visiting us till October.  They have helped us with the kids and it allows me to travel in Sept to Scrapfest and Inspiration Unlimited. I could not do it without them helping with the kids. So THANK YOU LOLO AND LOLA.

I am grateful for my family!  We are in transition time with school and I am hoping it does not take us too long to adjust.  Wish us luck.   I couldn't do it with out the help of Robert.  Wow...we make a great team!

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope to have some crafty shares with you soon.

Till next time. Happy Crafting.

Summer time!!! Finally - Drew and Baby's Birthday Party (a month late)

It is official! We are on summer break!

Yesterday was jam packed with activities for the kids.
Robert took all the kids to the water park. (I did not go because I had to get ready for Caroline and Drew's combo birthday party.)
Then I went and got ready for the birthday party for the kids.

The quick center pieces I made for the party.
Baby was mesmerized by the lit candles.

The birthday cake before the ducks got pulled off.

Drew enjoyed his party!  The party was a hit! We love Jump Around Utah!

What an exciting day! Our summer is filling up with different activities for the kids and I am getting my studio ready for all the deadlines and projects that will be coming soon! SO are you ready for summer?

Baby it's clold outside!

Late Saturday night it started snowing.  Funny thing is we had no clue that it was snowing...well because you never hear snow fall...just that peaceful clam falling of the snow.  But we love the winter...oh do we love winter.  We moved to Salt Lake City because the close proximity to the ski resorts.  Robert grew up in Denver and wanted to move closer to the mountains. So we moved for the winter.  When we arrived in Salt Lake in March the kids and Robert went up spring snowboarding at least a dozen times and loved it. So they are excited to get the season started.

This morning, the kids popped out of bed and wanted to go play in the snow.  Robert, a brave sole, got them ready to go sledding.  I was able to get a couple of shots before they left.  They love the snow and I am so happy that they enjoy the cold weather.

Caroline aka:Baby is ready to go play.

Drew literally jumped out of the car and landed in the snow.

Sammie was ready to go right then and now.
Kashi even loves the snow...he always make dog angels in the snow.

It is always so hard to get them to look at the camera at the same time.
This is the best I can do. Love these kids so much.

We relaxed and rested the remainder of the day.  It was a great day on Sunday.
